Summary
This symposium will bring together researchers and clinicians to address the unique challenges and considerations surrounding three primary sleep disorders in women: insomnia, OSA and hypersomnia, including sleep health in women and sleep in pregnancy. Each session focuses on one of these disorders, examining epidemiological factors and clinical outcomes through evidence derived from big data and artificial intelligence (AI). The symposium will explore the under-recognition of sleep problems in women and the impact of hormonal changes on sleep throughout a woman's life. Additionally, it will highlight the specific health consequences of untreated sleep disorders and emphasize the importance of personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs.
